Manufacturing Graduate Scheme
Being a manufacturing graduate at Morrisons is not like being a manufacturing graduate at other food retailers. Unlike our competitors, we own most of our own supply chain. In fact, we make 60% of our fresh food in-house and we’re the UK’s 2nd largest fresh food manufacturer. So here, you’ll be working in a manufacturing team that is right at the heart of the company’s success.

What you’ll be doing
We’re home to 17 sites producing everything from bread, fish and meat to flowers, veg and salad. Over 24 months, you’ll work at many of these locations – developing leadership skills, working on live projects and helping to improve our processes. You’ll also spend time in a store to learn how manufacturing influences the customer experience. Before you know it, you’ll be leading up to 50 people as a frontline team or shift manager.

What you’ll need to join us
Our colleagues ‘Make Morrisons’. You’ll be no exception. So you’ll need to be a hard worker, who enjoys getting stuck in and who can build strong working relationships with people across our business, treating everyone with empathy and respect. It’s crucial that you have a passion for product development and food quality and safety, and that you’re always looking to do things better. And, given the pace of change here, you must be able to think on your feet and solve problems fast. We’ll expect you to move around the country growing your skills in different sites – so a full UK driving licence is a must. You’ll also need a minimum 2:2 degree.
