We provide fire engineering consultancy services for prestigious buildings projects worldwide including the Wembley Stadium, Parliamentary Estates, Crossrail, Arab Centre for Research and Policy Studies, Ministry of Defence, Jakarta City Master planning, to name a few. We specialise in developing fire engineering strategies for a whole host of project types ranging across healthcare premises, retail, schools, universities, residential developments, hotel complexes, public and government buildings, sporting facilities, surface and sub-surface rail stations, retail and leisure facilities, historic and heritage protected buildings, military and high value/sensitive installations. The variety of areas we work in makes your job as a graduate fire engineer interesting and of course challenging.


Candidate Specification
We are looking for flexible and motivated graduates with a genuine passion for fire engineering, and a desire to make a difference in the world. If this describes you, apply today to launch your career at Mott MacDonald.


To apply for this scheme you will have less than 12 months experience and have achieved, or are expected to achieve, a 2.1 or above in one of the following degree disciplines:


• Fire engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• Aeronautical engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Structural engineering
• Civil engineering
• Building services engineering
• Public health engineering
• Chemical engineering
• Architecture
• Any other related science/engineering Masters Degree


When you apply you need to be able to demonstrate to us your interest in fire engineering through relevant experience, such as studying relevant modules, or previous work experience.


We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:
• Methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate good report writing.
