Job-hunting consultancy graduates have been given a boost after a Belfast company announced it will create new positions amid plans to increase sales to the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Bohill Consulting, which serves the IT and telecoms industries, said it wants to boost sales in these areas to more than £1 million by 2014. The firm is investing £484,000 into developing its business, a move which will see it take on six new consultants.
The investment programme has been supported by Invest Northern Ireland.
James Burns, a co-director of Bohill, said: "High consumer demand for smartphones, apps and rich media content is driving growth in the mobile telecoms market and has resulted in increased demand for our Enabler Services.
"These services allow our partners to realise their competitive advantage. We plan to exploit this opportunity by building a team of experienced specialist consultants and by targeting new customers in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland."
Vodafone and Virgin Media are among the company's existing clients.
