A motor manufacturer has said its graduate jobs programme has seen an extra three-fifths of application submissions this year compared with 2011.
Jaguar Land Rover said it has been sent 61% more applications from graduates than last year.
Just three years ago the total was three times less.
The firm said it has career opportunities in product development engineering, IT, marketing and sales, human resources, manufacturing, purchasing and finance.
Jaguar human resources chief Des Thurlby insisted: "Seeing the number of graduate applications increase five-fold in three years reflects the increasingly positive perception graduates have of our business."
He went on: "The recruits will be joining us at an exciting time and once on-board, we will work hard to ensure that their careers with us will be both challenging and exciting.
"In addition to the graduate milkround, Jaguar Land Rover continues to recruit for hundreds of positions from shop floor to senior management, across a whole range of business functions.
"In 2011, the company handled more than 45,000 applications from candidates wanting to join us on our exciting journey."
