Law graduates struggling to succeed in the current jobs market may have cause to celebrate soon, after the Co-operative Group launched the company's largest ever recruitment drive.
The legal arm of the group plans to generate 150 new jobs, mostly based in Bristol and London, as part of the firm's continued expansion into the legal services market.
The legal arm of the Co-op was set up almost six years ago, and is managed by Eddie Ryan. Speaking about his company's plans, Mr Ryan said: "We believe the presence of the Co-op's trusted brand and values will provide customers with greater accessibility to legal advice and better value for money.
"We have ambitious plans for our business, and now we want people with ambitions to match."
The Co-operative Group is the world's largest staff-owned company, employing over 100,000 people across a broad range of business interests. It also operates 4,800 high street shops.
