An insurance firm has offered hope to UK graduates with plans to create 200 jobs in sales, customer operations, marketing, IT, claims, underwriting, facilities and management information.
The company, Hastings Direct, said the jobs are full-time equivalents. Job share or part-time workers will be welcome and the shifts include evenings and weekends, said HR director Amanda Menahem.
She said the firm, which is based in Collington Avenue, Bexhill, is committed to growing and is investing heavily in staff development, and has already doubled its leadership and development programme.
The company will create college leaver and graduate schemes later in 2012, said Ms Menahem, adding that it needs to fill roles in all aspects of the company, including finance, facilities, IT, marketing and call centres.
She said: "This year we have enjoyed formal recognition for our people strategy as well as winning awards for our business development and anti-fraud work."
