Graduates keen to join the engineering sector might be interested to know that SCA Hygiene Products has unveiled graduate traineeships at its factory in Northumberland.
The two-year Graduate Accelerator Programme (GAP) is a dedicated development scheme started to enhance the technical and leadership skills of engineers who have just entered the industry.
The Graduate Process Engineers will be placed at the paper mill and recycling plant in Prudhoe.The firm further aims to create new employment opportunities for university graduates.
Currently the company employs around 440 people at its Prudhoe location and wants to invest in the future of the factory.
Katie Hilton, interim HR manager said: "As an international company we are keen to cultivate talent in the areas we operate, and so we are keen to hear from motivated graduates with a real passion for manufacturing and a desire to live and work in the North East."
