A number of graduate jobs have become available at a Scottish luxury goods company after it received a £5 million investment
James Johnston & Co said it would now train graduates after securing the funding from Lloyds Banking Group.
The company, which sells cashmere clothes and accessories, also plans to expand its business overseas following increasing sale figures in the Middle East and Asia.
James Dracup, managing director, said: "As a company we supply a lot of high-fashion labels, and quality is always at the forefront of our business.
"We have invested in a number of new looms to increase capacity and flexibility. We look at investments to increase quality and improve service. If we also make efficiency savings as a result, that is good but it isn't a priority."
The Moray-based luxury company has been in business since 1797 and currently employs 700 people. It has offices in London, Dusseldorf, Tokyo and the United States.
