Communications graduates will be pleased to hear that they can now apply for a newly launched graduate scheme at pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
The firm is planning to recruit two UK graduates and one in China for its two-year training programme. The successful applicants will get an insight into a number of departments at GSK, including consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical research.
Commenting on the scheme, GSK's media manager for global financial and corporate news, Claire Taaffe, said: "This reflects the importance of communications as a strategic function in GSK, which is why we have launched this scheme to attract and grow talent to meet our business needs."
GSK has offices in more than 100 countries around the globe and is one of the world's biggest pharmaceutical firms. Sensodyne, Panadol, Aquafresh and Lycozade are among its best-known consumer products.
The company's headquarters are in the UK, with research centres set up in the UK, China, Belgium and the US.
