Good news from a construction firm aiming to create jobs after annual turnover growth to £20 million will be welcomed in the graduate employment field.
Leeds-based Harris Construction Management's three planned new divisions will specialise in construction management, fit-out work and facilities management in "hcm projects", "hcm interiors" and "hcm facilities" respectively.
HCM employs 24 people but will expand into a larger office suite at Thorpe Park, where it is based, in December. It has become Asda's contractor of choice and won major contracts in the markets for industry, commerce, homes, and restaurants, said managing director Jason Adlam.
It won more projects for Coca Cola and PepsiCo UK and a multimillion-pound contract to manage refurbishment of Nando's Edinburgh and Kent restaurants.
HCM also recently began work on two more restaurants for Goodman at central London's Mayfair and Canary Wharf.
