New space for companies is to be added to a business park in Carmarthenshire, providing job opportunities for graduate careers in the area and beyond.
The existing Cross Hands Food Park is a joint venture by the local authority and Welsh Government designed to attract food industry firms to the region.
Ministers say they will spend £13.5 million on enlarging the site, creating more roads and other infrastructure for what will be known as Cross Hands East.
Welsh regeneration minister Huw Lewis said: "The development of this site will boost the region's economy, attracting further investment and leading to more job opportunities."
One local councillor, Clive Scourfield, said: "Despite difficult economic times it is vital that we develop the sites to accommodate future business investment and expansion."
