Graduates looking for jobs in aircraft maintenance have been given a boost with the news that 150 new posts are to be created in Ireland.
Dublin Aerospace said the jobs would be made available at Dublin Airport over the next two years.
The group will create 45 positions immediately, it added.
Dublin Aerospace was established two years ago after SR Technics pulled out of Dublin Airport.
The group's 4.5m euro landing gear centre was opened by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, who said the Irish Government's main priority is to restore economic growth and create jobs.
The plans will see the firm double its workforce and its capacity to overhaul landing gears for Airbus A320s and Boeing 737s.
The announcement comes after official figures revealed that unemployment in Ireland has fallen.
Some 430,432 people were claiming unemployment benefit in October, down by 7,000 from the previous month with many claimants going back to education.
But the number of people who have been unemployed for more than a year has risen by almost 22% to 179,773 since 2010, the Central Statistics Office said.
