It has been announced that 40 new jobs are to be created across Ireland over the next five years thanks to the expansion of an opticians.
The announcement was made as Opticks Superior Eyecare opened its second shop in Dun Laoghaire and unveiled plans to open eight more in the near future across Ireland.
The move will see €5 million invested in growth. There are currently just six full time employees working for the company so the announcement represents a major opportunity for graduates.
"Opticks is an expanding, innovative Irish business with many lessons for policymakers and businesspeople alike.": said Richard Bruton, Jobs Minister at the launch of the new shop.
