Capita announces city finance jobs - graduate jobs

Wed 28th Sep 2011, 11:19AM   about second-jobber.com news.

Finance, accountancy and management graduates have the opportunity to secure a full-time position with Capita over the next few years, as the company brings 300 jobs to its life and pensions division in Belfast.

The 336 vacancies at the outsourcing firm are thanks to a £1 million pot of cash provided to it by Invest NI.

Northern Ireland's enterprise minister, Arlene Foster, said she welcomed the Capita expansion.

"These new jobs, which will be created over the next four years, are very welcome in the current economic climate and offer a wide variety of opportunities, including management and supervisory positions," she added.

The cash is the first pot given out under a short-term employment scheme run by Invest NI, intended to help create jobs in the global economic crisis.

The scheme has targeted the creation of 4,000 jobs in the region by 2014 and includes help for people who want to run their own business, as well as giving funds to established companies.
