New hospitality sector jobs are opening up for graduates as budget hotel chain Travelodge gears up for expansion.
The group is in the process of recruiting more than 160 employees for nine new hotels it plans to open across the country.
Travelodge has identified sites in Birmingham, Doncaster, High Wycombe, Huddersfield, Liverpool, London, Salford Quays, Portishead and Bolton for the new establishments.
"These 163 new jobs are not just for Christmas, we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals who want a long term career in hospitality," said Travelodge HR director Michelle Luxford.
The new sites will bring up the number of Travelodge hotels to nearly 500 and the number of rooms to more than 35,000. By 2025, the group hopes to grow to 1,100 hotels, with 100,000 rooms.
