Graduates keen on defence jobs should post their CV to BAE Systems Manufacturing in Fife, which has won another contract from a defence electronics firm.
The deal comprises procurement and manufacturing services for Selex Galileo, to fit radar to Typhoon Eurofighter jets. Work on the contract will start this year at BAE's factory in Hillend and will last until 2013.
Selex Galileo, which BAE once part-owned, has awarded BAE Systems Hillend around £165 million-worth of Typhoon-related orders in 12 years. The contracts are to do with the Tranche 3a Captor radar programme.
BAE Systems general manager Danny O'Brien said: "The recent award is a reflection of the strong business relationship between Selex Galileo and BAE Systems Manufacturing Hillend. The close working style will enable effective responses to existing and next-generation programmes."
Scottish Secretary Michael Moore said: "The defence sector is a valuable source of high-value jobs in Scotland. Our armed forces require the most advanced technology in the world to do their job and that is why they keep turning to Scottish expertise at places like BAE in Fife and Selex Galileo in Edinburgh."
