Gaming group Rank has launched a new recruitment drive, as it plans to hire 1,400 extra people, including graduates, over the next three years.
The firm is planning to roll-out its G-Casino format, and the new jobs will be offered as part of the project.
The Mecca bingo and Grosvenor casino group intends to increase the number of its casinos to 45 by 2015, and 30 of them are likely to be in the G-Casino format.
As part of the expansion strategy, Rank will launch new casinos in Stockton-on-Tees, south Manchester and New Brighton in Merseyside in 2012.
The news comes after the gaming and leisure business was acquired by a gambling group, called Guoco.
The new sites will feature poker rooms, electronic games as well as bars and restaurants. According to the firm, casino tables are specially designed to serve as a night out venue for younger, less formal customers.
