The Scottish job market continued its upward trend in June, providing further hope for young graduates.
But the recovery was at a reduced pace, according to the latest edition of Bank of Scotland Report on Jobs.
The Scottish labour market continued to outperform the UK as a whole, for the third month in a row. Dundee saw the highest number of workers landing permanent and temporary jobs
But the pace of vacancy growth for permanent employees was the slowest in five months. The IT and computing sector saw the fastest rise in available vacancies.
"The Scottish labour market improved in June. Recruitment agencies reported a continuing rise in demand for new staff and a higher number of people securing jobs," said Donald MacRae, chief economist at Bank of Scotland.
He added: "Permanent salaries increased for the sixth consecutive month but at a slower pace than May."
