A Lancashire-based telecoms company has outlined plans for a major workforce expansion that promises new opportunities for graduates.
Daisy Communications, headquartered at the Lomeshaye Industrial Estate in Nelson, is set to add 100 workers to its existing UK-wide staff strength of 1,400 over the next six months.
On July 14, Daisy plans to hold a recruitment day at its Lindred Road office.
The company, which has 75,000 customers around the country, is set to expand office space in the industrial estate after receiving approval from Pendle Council to redevelop an adjacent building that formerly housed an engineering group.
Now nearing completion, the new premises will be able to accommodate 700 extra employees.
Gareth Kirkwood, the firm's chief operating officer, said: "The fact that our headquarters in Nelson are now full to capacity demonstrates the level of growth the company has achieved since we moved to Daisy House with less than 100 staff in 2005."
