Accountancy giant PricewaterhouseCoopers is inviting graduate applications for its September 2011 and April 2012 intakes.
The professional services firm, which is headquartered in London, took on 209 new recruits last month, who were selected from almost 6,000 applicants.
PwC said its decision to maintain its graduate employment quota during the recession had proved a sound one.
Ian Powell, PwC chairman and senior partner, said: "The recovery is bringing fresh opportunities and the business is growing, so maintaining and increasing the investment and value we have placed in our graduate recruitment numbers has massively paid off."
Competition for the latest graduate opportunities was fierce, with about 30 applicants for each available place - almost double the figure seen in 2010. A third of the new intake graduated in 2008 and 2009.
