International manufacturing and engineering group ENER-G has announced that it will create 100 new jobs worldwide this year, half of which will be in the UK, news that would be of interest to graduates.
The low carbon technology group currently has over 760 workers around the world, 560 of whom are based in Britain.
The latest announcement was made at the official opening of a £2 million expansion of the company's Salford headquarters.
The new building, opened by climate change minister Greg Barker, has increased the firm's office space two-fold.
It will also increase space for manufacturing low carbon technologies.
ENER-G has also announced plans to increase production at its manufacturing facility in Salford.
It is also offering training to 20 young people as part of its apprenticeship programme, in collaboration with schools, colleges and universities.
ENER-G posted a 34% rise in its turnover to £130 million in 2010, with exports accounting for about half of the growth.
