Law students are quietly confident about their employment chances after they graduate despite the unpredictable nature of the recruitment market.
At The Lawyer's sister magazine Lawyer 2B's summer party earlier this month, more than 50 law committee members and society presidents said that for the right candidates recruitment prospects were still high.
Cardiff Law Society president Marcus Coates-Walker said that students were concerned about getting a job in the legal profession as the costs of legal training and tuition can mount up.
He added that the legal profession benefited from not dramatically cutting graduate recruitment programmes during the economic downturn like other areas did and since then the jobs market appears to be improving for graduates.
