Eager graduates have been swamping resurgent Jaguar Land Rover with applications.
More than 3,700 young jobseekers have been chasing 80 vacancies with the Midlands manufacturer
JLR received 3,715 applications for jobs on offer in its latest graduate intake. The number of jobseekers for roles in engineering, manufacturing, finance, human resources, marketing, IT and purchasing, was double that received last year by graduates.
"Graduates invest a lot of time and effort researching the companies they apply to work for and Jaguar Land Rover is encouraged by the standard of applicants," said Des Thurlby, JLR's Director of Human Resources.
"We look forward to meeting some of the country's brightest prospects and future business leaders," said Mr Thurlby.
"The number of applicants for our graduate and undergraduate programme speaks volumes about what an attractive prospect a career at Jaguar Land Rover is. Furthermore, we are proud to be increasing our levels of recruitment."
