An alert system notifying graduates of jobs in physiotherapy has been launched in Wales.
The year-long scheme, open to all graduates living in Wales regardless of where they trained, will notify participants of vacancies by text and email.
Officials say the system, operated by the School of Healthcare Studies at Cardiff University, was launched in response to lobbying by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and because of Government promises to ensure graduate unemployment was tackled.
Speaking at a meeting with physiotherapy graduates John Phillips and Michael Whichello, who have yet to find full-time employment in the NHS in Wales, health minister Edwina Hart said she hoped other health professions would adopt the system.
