Internet search engine Google is the world's most attractive employer for business and engineering graduates, two separate surveys have found.
The company tops the list of the 50 most desirable companies that engineering graduates want to work for, followed closely by its fierce rival, Microsoft.
PriceWaterhouseCooper also fares well in the poll, coming second to Google as the employer most business students want to work for.
Also coming in the top 10 are, in order, Goldman Sachs Group, Ernst & Young, Procter & Gamble, JP Morgan, McKinsey & Company and Deloitte.
Universum, the company that carried out the survey, said: "Google's number one position is no surprise. Due to its remarkable brand image, students worldwide see it as a company they would like to work for.
"The employers that feature in this Top 50 all have one thing in common: they successfully appeal to current and future talent, and they are aware of how scarce talent is."
