Graduate placements on the Scottish ITV franchise STV will be up for grabs thanks to the BA (Hons) Television course at Edinburgh Napier University.
Students will compete for a limited number of internships on news teams in areas ranging from production, development and ideas pitching, to online editorial, news-gathering and planning.
STV chief executive Rob Woodward said: "With this exciting new agreement, we continue to build on our existing relationship with Edinburgh Napier and other higher education institutions across Scotland.
"It offers an invaluable opportunity for under graduates to gain hands-on experience in television and online production and get a head start in their careers."
During the course, student will get other work placement and shadowing opportunities, plus master classes and the chance to hear to guest speakers invited through the mentoring partnership.
Alistair Scott, of Edinburgh Napier's School of Arts and Creative Industries, said: "We are delighted with this close partnership."
