Computing and technology giant IBM has teamed up with the University of York in a program aimed at helping graduates find work straight from completing their studies.
The University Relations Program aims to expand the resources and experiences offered to students, helping them to improve their preparation for future careers.
Students and academic staff will have free access to IBM software through its Academic Initiative programme to complement teaching activities and to aid research.
Inventors and engineers working for the company will give guest lectures and seminars, support curriculum development, and undertake research activities with staff and students.
