Graduates are included in an employment net being thrown out by housing developer Springfield Properties after winning a £15 million contract in northern Scotland.
The first adverts for jobs across the board are expected to produce a flood of applications when they appear next week, with a a spin-off for sub-contractors and suppliers.
The company wants to double its workforce to 300 as work gets under way on the Moray Volume Procurement Initiative (MVPI), with 49 homes planned for Buckie and 54 in Elgin.
Further phases of the partnership between the Grampian and Langstane housing associations and the Moray Housing Partnership will mean 425 new homes across Moray.
Springfield boss John Main says that if all the future phases get planning permission, it will keep the firm going for around three years.
He says: "We have had a lot of very positive signs for the private-housing market, with a strong run of sales in January, February and March, which means we are actively looking to recruit.
"At a time when there's a lot of concern about the construction industry, Springfield finds itself in a great position."
