Salary: £17½ - 19k base plus commission, benefits, training and progression

We promote from within so you will start your career as a Recruiter working your way towards promotion into a Sales/Business Development role. The majority of our leadership started their careers with Allegis in the Recruiter role, including the President of our company.

As a Recruiter you will:
• Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates
• Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements
• Negotiate pay rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates
• Work with Business Development Managers to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and to assess clients’ staffing requirements.
• Maintain relationships with industry contacts to gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.

Qualified candidates for the Recruiter position must:
• Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Be available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand.
• Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Word and MS Outlook
• Have work experience in a sales or service-oriented business.
• Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast paced sales environment, and be capable of regularly using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
• Hold a full UK driving license and own transportation (not relevant for London or Dublin)
