Our Recruiters work with our clients and a team of Allegis Group Business Development Managers and others to identify, screen, interview, present and hire qualified candidates for contract and permanent positions.

Allegis Group promotes from within. Candidates start as a Recruiter and take full mastery of that role before being promoted to a Sales/Business Development Role.

As a Recruiter you will:
• Work with Business Development Managers to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and to assess clients’ staffing requirements.
• Maintain relationships with industry contacts to gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.
• Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements
• Negotiate pay rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates
• Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates

Qualified candidates for the Recruiter position must:
• Have a Bachelor’s degree or related sales or recruiting experience.
• Have work experience in a sales or service-oriented business.
• Hold a full UK driving license and own transportation.
• Be available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand.
• Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Word and MS Outlook (or similar email application).
• Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast paced sales environment, and be capable of regularly using good judgement and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
