A Buyers Administration Assistant provides crucial administrative support to the Buying team, taking an active role in the buying process by placing product orders and monitoring the critical path. They will also attend fit sessions, maintain the sample library and carry out competitive shops.
In order to be successful in the role you’ll need to combine creative flair and commercial awareness with great communication and organisational skills. A fashion related degree is essential and 5 GCSE’s (grade A-C) including Maths and English. If you don’t have a fashion related degree, a fashion short course or at least 6 months experience within a buying related position is required.
