Graduate Product Marketing Manager General
The Teams
RM Hardware Solutions is responsible for a wide range of high profile products and services offered to the education market. Hardware Solutions deliver circa 45% of the RM contribution and is planning for continued growth in FY10.
The RM Services Product Management team develop ways of supporting these products – focussing on what the customer needs in order to work with and get the best out of what we offer.
Between them, two teams are responsible for ensuring that the Company continues to offer a range of innovative, competitively priced and educationally focussed products and support services to our customers
Responsibilities
Working both individually and with teams across the business, you will be involved in the full marketing lifecycle. The key points of this role will be to:
• Manage and develop a number of services within the product portfolio
• Research current and future customer needs, and create, justify and implement product introduction and launch plans to meet these needs
• Take responsibility for the long-term product revenue and margin plan
• Devise marketing and communication strategies and materials to promote and support your product portfolio

Training and Development
Within your first year you will work on a graduate project, along with other graduates and supported by a senior director within RM.
You will work alongside experienced team members and we also offer 1:1 mentoring to help you focus on developing your job specific knowledge and interpersonal skills.
There are a range of internal and external courses available designed to improve skills important for this role and RM fully support further study and would expect you to study towards Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications and will pay course fees and provide study leave.
Future Progression
As your experience grows you will take on more product responsibility and a wider portfolio. This may lead to taking on a specialised portfolio, and in the longer term the management of a group of Product Managers. RM are committed to supporting your development and will work with you to put together a career plan to suit you.
Qualifications and Experience
A 2:1 or first class honours degree in a marketing, business or computer related degree.
260 UCAS tariff points or equivalent.
In addition you will have:

Ideal experience (although not essential) would include:
• Relevant work experience in a marketing/product management environment
